Jordan
Black History Season

A film and stills photography exploring the Black British experience through an intergenerational conversation with Brixton’s basketball players, activists and musicians, for Jordan's first Black History campaign outside the US. With contributions from Paul Ambrosius who trained with Jordan during his 1985 visit to Brixton, writer Alex Wheatle imprisoned for his involvement in the 1981 Brixton riots and immortalised in Steve McQueen's 'Small Axe' series, and Stella Dadzie who was at the heart of the development of the Black Women’s Movement in Brixton, alongside the next generation of basketball stars and musicians.
