Gucci
Second Summer of Love
We created an artist-led film series to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 'Second Summer of Love', bringing fresh perspective to music movements that reshaped the cultural landscape – for Gucci and Frieze's platforms, worldwide television, art institution and film festival distribution.
Jeremy Deller's documentary ranked no.17 in The Guardian’s Best 50 TV Shows of 2019 and was described by Another Man as 'a work of public art in the truest sense of the term: generous, inclusive, optimistic, and a rallying reminder that the youth still have the possibility to – for want of a better phrase – take back control.'
The series continues to be invited to screen globally five years after release. To date this includes broadcast on the BBC, programming at the Whitney Biennial, Getty Museum, Art Basel, V&A Dundee, acquisition by Manchester Art Gallery, and inclusion in Jeremy Deller’s book and artist retrospectives in France and Denmark in 2024.
