Everybody in the Place
'Everybody in the Place' directed by Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller explores the cultural significance of acid house and rave through rare and unseen archive material and an illuminating conversation with sixth form students who bring their own fresh perspective to the story. The film was ranked #17 in The Guardian’s Best 50 TV Shows of 2019 and described by Another Man as 'a work of public art in the truest sense of the term: generous, inclusive, optimistic, and a rallying reminder that youth still have the possibility to – for want of a better phrase – take back control.'
The film was broadcast on the BBC, and programmed at Frieze London, Art Basel, V&A Dundee, and included in Jeremy Deller’s ‘Art is Magic’ book and artist retrospectives in France and Denmark in 2023, and an extended run at 180 London in 2024-25.
